A great day for Clonburris as the Senior Boys had a convincing win over Scoil Olaf in Croke Park! 4 buses of players, pupils and staff attended the game, as well as lots of parents and grandparents. Thanks to Andrzej Ostapowicz for all the brilliant action shots!
Ciarán Carr Foundation Family Colour Run
The Ciarán Carr Foundation has fund-raised for a number of years and each school in the area has defibrillators as a result. The Family Colour Run this year raised funds to help maintain all these defibs and to continue training. A great morning in Corkagh Park with pupils, parents, staff and their families running and having fun!
News2Day film 6th Classes
News2Day visited Clonburris NS to film 6th classes while they did their Marathon Kids warm-up drills and running. They were led by Mr. Murray. Ms. Morley and some of the pupils also spoke to the presenter Zainab about the Marathon Kids programme. Here's the link to the news clip.

David Gillick, Marathon Kids Ambassador, runs with 6th classes
In September, David Gillick visited Clonburris with Paula Swayne, from South Dublin County Council. He did a warm-up with the 6th classes, ran with them and then did a Q&A session back in the classroom. Great to hear about his career as an athlete. Lots of questions from the pupils.
