Senior Infant One Book Project - June 2017
The Senior Infant children completed a week of activities based on the book 'HANDA'S SURPRISE'. A fruit tasting yielded some surprising results with passionfruit and pineapple being firm favourites. Avocado got a big thumbs down!! The children also produced some wonderful artwork which is on display in the hall.
The week culminated with a ceremony where Mrs Ryan congratulated all the boys and girls for their hard work and presented them with a certificate.
They also received their own copy of the 'HANDA'S SURPRISE'. Thank you to all those parents who attended the ceremony. Thanks also to Miss O'Malley who reminded all the children about activities which take place in their local libraries during the Summer Holidays.
Well done everyone - keep up the reading!
